Samsung eMX, the first concept car by RSM Design, developed for the Seoul Motor Show 2009

- Developed in conjunction with the 'Future Compact Car Project' for the Seoul Motor Show 2009
- eMX concept car, the outcome of RSM Design's creativity, talent and enthusiasm
Renault Samsung Motors (CEO; Jean-Marie Hurtiger) exhibited RSM Design's first-ever concept car, eMXfeco-Motoring Experience), at KINTEX in llsan from April 2nd to 12th.

The eMX concept car, with its design inspired by nature, was ultimately selected among three design proposals for Renault Samsung Motors' future compact car from RSM Design, and was further developed, 100% in-house, for special display at the Seoul Motor Show 2009. The fresh and attractive interior and exterior of eMX were designed by RSM Design, and fully born through all of the RSM Design designers' creativity, talent, and enthusiasm.
The eMX uses fluid, simple and soft lines along with details and graphics all inspired by nature to investigate new ways translating eco-friendly values and spirit to the form language of Renault Samsung Motors' potential future compact car design. In addition to the sleek, clean, richly sculpted exterior design with a full roof glass, the expressive interior design showcases simple, fresh and somewhat organic design. The interior's lighting effect is especially impressive, delivering a warm atmosphere as well as a high-tech mood.

Christophe Dupont, Executive Managing Director of RSM Design said "eMX is a good opportunity to investigate Renault Samsung Motors' future directions in innovative design" and added, "It successfully suggests its eco-friendly values and spirit, which is what we were aiming to accomplish with this futuristic compact car." He also said that "Although eMX doesn't announce an actual production vehicle, it indicates that Renault Samsung Motors is proactively investigating new directions for its future model line-up."
