Moskvich-2139 Arbat was a single prototype minivan built in 1991 as a concept car derived from the Moskvich-2141 hatchback, fitted with plastic exterior body panels in place of steel. Only one example was ever produced. Though presented as a concept, genuine plans to put a minivan based on the 2141 platform into production existed at the time, and the car received wide coverage in the press in the early 1990s.
The Arbat measured 4,600 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,640 mm tall on a 2,730 mm wheelbase. It was a seven-seat minivan with a front-mounted engine driving the front wheels, reaching a top speed of 175 km/h.
