Specialty Automotive Engineering

1986-1986

Brand Data

Specialty Automotive Engineering was a kit car maker based in Walnut, California. Its Fierro was a Ferrari Dino replica built on a Volkswagen chassis reinforced with a full roll cage. The fiberglass body shell used Ford Pinto doors and a Chevrolet Vega rear hatch, which gave solid doors with leak-free roll-up windows from inexpensive and plentiful production car parts. A custom relay-controlled wiring harness was available.
