Sondors

Sondors Electric Car Company was a Malibu, California–based electric-vehicle startup incorporated in 2016, created to develop fully electric three-wheeled passenger vehicles. Its proposed product, commonly referred to as Model Sondors, was presented as a three-seat “tadpole” layout EV (two front wheels, one rear) aimed at a low entry price, with stated plans for multiple battery-range variants and home charging capability. The prototype was publicly debuted at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, including at least one demonstrator using Protean in-wheel motor technology. The company pursued equity crowdfunding to finance development and tooling, including Regulation Crowdfunding/StartEngine offerings; reporting on those campaigns indicated that the fundraises closed well below stated targets and, in available public records and coverage, the project did not proceed to documented series production.
