Rage Exotic Vehicles, LLC was an American specialty vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, and formed as a continuation of the custom coachbuilding activities of Knudsen Automotive Design, LLC, founded in 1978 by Russell A. Knudsen. Knudsen’s earlier work included limited-production, hand-built vehicles such as the Baroque Coupe and Cabriolet (1980–1982), Tojan Firebirds (from 1984), Carralo Camaros (1988–1989), Tridon performance trucks (1990s), and later custom motorcoaches. Rage Exotic Vehicles formalized the next phase of operations with the involvement of Andrew Knudsen, who led the styling direction and positioned the company as a boutique producer of aggressively styled, limited-production luxury performance vehicles.
Under the Rage name, the firm produced heavily modified, high-performance variants based primarily on contemporary American platforms, including the Rage Mustang (R6sc and R8sc supercharged models, plus wide-body editions), the Rage Corvette C650 featuring a supercharged LS3 V-8, and the Rage 5100R PowerYacht, marking the company’s entry into high-performance marine craft. Vehicles were characterized by extensive exterior redesigns, bespoke interiors with diamond-tufted leather trim, and advertised high-output forced-induction powertrains, all built in limited numbers.
