Pacific Coachworks was an American automotive manufacturer based in S.Qleta, California, that operated briefly from 1978 to 1980. The company specialized in producing a limited number of vehicles, specifically five units, which were notable for their unique construction.
The vehicles produced by Pacific Coachworks utilized a Buick chassis and drivetrain, incorporating the central section of a Buick hardtop body. This design was complemented by a separate bonnet and boot, creating a distinctive appearance. Each car was powered by a 3.8-liter turbocharged V6 engine, which contributed to their performance characteristics.
Despite the innovative design and engineering, Pacific Coachworks had a short production run and ultimately ceased operations after manufacturing only a handful of vehicles. The brand remains a niche part of automotive history, primarily recognized for its limited output and unique approach to vehicle construction.
