Gleason was an American automobile manufacturer that operated from 1909 to 1914 in Kansas City, Missouri. The company was established in a factory that had previously produced the CAPS and Kansas City vehicles. Gleason specialized in high-wheel automobiles, which were characterized by their large wheels and elevated chassis.

The vehicles produced by Gleason were powered by a 20-horsepower flat-twin engine and featured an unusual shaft drive system for a high-wheeler. During its production run, the company offered five different body styles, and the design of the Gleason remained largely unchanged throughout its five years of operation. Later models included the option for pneumatic tires, which represented a notable advancement in automotive technology at the time.

After the cessation of Gleason's production in 1914, the factory continued to be utilized for automotive manufacturing, specifically for the short-lived Bauer cyclecar. The legacy of Gleason is marked by its contribution to the high-wheeler segment of early American automotive history.
