G.J.G. Motor Car Company was established in 1909 in White Plains, New York, by George Joha Grossman. The company operated until 1914, producing a range of conventional automobiles that featured two sizes of four-cylinder engines: the 26 horsepower Junior and the 42 horsepower Senior.

The G.J.G. lineup included various body styles, such as runabouts, raceabouts, and touring cars. The runabout was designed as a simple two-seat tourer, while the raceabout was more performance-oriented, boasting a claimed top speed of 65 mph (105 km/h) and a sportier aesthetic. The Senior models were often marketed under different names, including the Allen-Kingston Pirate Runabout, which was a near-replica of the Junior, as well as the Scout Tourer and Carryall Tourer.

In 1910, Grossman introduced the Junior model, but by 1914, the company produced only one model, the speedster, and in very limited numbers. As Grossman prepared to close the business, he noted that he had never turned a profit from the venture, leading to the eventual cessation of operations.
