Gaylord Motor Car Company was an American automobile manufacturer based in Gaylord, Michigan, that operated from 1910 to 1913. The company specialized in producing versatile vehicles that could be converted from passenger use to goods transportation.

The Gaylord vehicles were built on a conventional chassis and featured a 35-horsepower four-cylinder engine. The standard passenger model was a four-seater tourer, but the company also offered alternative body styles, including a station wagon-type configuration with inward-facing seats for six passengers, as well as a flat platform designed for load carrying. Production figures for the Gaylord vehicles may have reached approximately 350 units during its brief existence.

In 1912, Gaylord expanded its lineup by introducing three new models equipped with overhead valve (OHV) four-cylinder engines, producing outputs of 20/25 and 28/30 horsepower. However, these new models were exclusively available as tourers or roadsters and did not feature the convertible utility bodies that characterized the earlier offerings. The company ceased operations shortly thereafter, marking the end of its contribution to the early automotive industry.
