The Gary Automobile Manufacturing Company was established in 1914 in Gary, Indiana. The company produced automobiles that featured a 34-horsepower, six-cylinder engine. Two distinct models were offered: a two-seater speedster and a six-seater tourer. Both models shared a wheelbase of 135 inches (3426 mm) and were priced at $2,300.
In addition to passenger vehicles, the company was associated with the production of a truck also named Gary, which was manufactured in Gary, Indiana. However, this truck was unrelated to the automobile line. Furthermore, a Gary-branded taxicab was produced in Chicago in 1909, but it did not have any connection to the Gary Automobile Manufacturing Company. The company’s operations were relatively short-lived, and it did not achieve significant prominence in the automotive industry.
