Exotic Coachcraft Inc. was an American automotive company based in Diego, California, that operated from approximately 1984 to 1990. The company specialized in manufacturing replica vehicles, notably a replica of the Ferrari Daytona spyder, which was built on a Chevrolet Corvette chassis and utilized its running gear.
In the late 1980s, Exotic Coachcraft was acquired by Seigo Takei, who was instrumental in redesigning the kit to enhance its quality. Under his leadership, the company focused on improving the assembly process, although many of the vehicles were sold in partially assembled form. A significant number of these replicas were exported to Japan, reflecting the international appeal of the brand's offerings.
