Eureka Manufacturing Company was established in Rock Falls, Illinois, and operated briefly in the automotive industry from 1908 to 1909. Originally known for producing furniture and coffins, the company ventured into car manufacturing during a period when several other manufacturers were also experimenting with automobile production.

Eureka's automotive offering primarily consisted of a high-wheel buggy, which was powered by a 15-horsepower, two-cylinder engine. The vehicle featured an epicyclic transmission and chain drive, reflecting the technological trends of the time. However, the company produced only a limited number of complete automobiles before ceasing its automotive operations.

Despite its short-lived foray into car manufacturing, Eureka gained recognition for its production of hearse bodies, which were mounted on chassis made by other manufacturers. This aspect of their business continued until the early 1960s, allowing the company to maintain a presence in the automotive sector, albeit indirectly.
