Etnyre Motor Car Company was established in Oregon, Illinois, during the early 20th century. Founded by E.D. Etnyre, the company produced automobiles from 1910 to 1911.
The flagship model of the company was the Etnyre Four, a large automobile that was available in various body styles, including tourer, roadster, and coupe. It was powered by a 7.7-litre engine that produced 50 horsepower, which was manufactured by the company itself.
Despite the promising design and engineering of its vehicles, Etnyre Motor Car Company faced financial difficulties. The company was under-financed and ultimately ceased operations at the end of the 1911 season, having produced only ten cars during its brief existence.
