Elmer Auto Corp. was an American automobile manufacturer based in Elkhart, Indiana, that operated briefly from 1911 to 1912. The company acquired the factory of the Elkhart Motor Car Company, which had previously produced vehicles such as the Sterling and Komet.
Elmer Auto Corp. focused on the production of a conventional six-cylinder automobile. However, only prototypes of this vehicle were developed before the manufacturing operations were relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. Following this move, the production transitioned to a new brand known as Grant. Some of the prototypes created by Elmer were referred to as Lohr, and one of these prototypes is known to exist today, serving as a historical artifact of the company's brief existence.
