El Morocco was an American automobile brand that operated briefly from 1956 to 1957. Founded by Rubin Allender, who had previously achieved success in the auto parts industry, the brand aimed to create distinctive vehicles that could be marketed through Allender's dealerships in Detroit, Michigan.

The El Morocco cars originated as modified Chevrolet hard-tops and convertibles from the 1956 and 1957 model years. To differentiate them from standard Chevrolet models, the vehicles were enhanced with fiberglass fins, oversized bumpers, and elaborate side trim, giving them a resemblance to the contemporary Cadillac Eldorado. The design and production of these vehicles were carried out by Creative Industries, a company known for building show cars for various Detroit manufacturers.

Despite their unique styling, El Morocco cars were priced similarly to standard Chevrolet sedans, making them an intriguing option for consumers seeking a more flamboyant vehicle without a significant price increase. However, the brand's production was short-lived, and it ceased operations after just two years.
