Duesenberg Brothers was an American automotive company established in Mundelein, Illinois, by Harlan and Kenneth Duesenberg in 1978. The founders were nephews of Fred and August Duesenberg, who were known for their earlier luxury automobiles. The company aimed to create a new luxury vehicle that would pay homage to the original Duesenberg legacy.
The Duesenberg Brothers developed a boxy sedan that was distinct from the classic models produced by their predecessors. This new design utilized Cadillac running gear and was powered by a 7.0-liter V8 engine. Despite its luxury positioning, the car was considered somewhat lackluster in terms of appeal and performance.
The projected price for the vehicle was set at $100,000, which ultimately contributed to the venture's lack of success. Only a single prototype of the car was built, and the company did not proceed to mass production. The Duesenberg Brothers' attempt to revive the family name in the automotive industry was short-lived and marked by limited impact.
