Dolson was an American automobile manufacturer that operated from 1904 to 1907, based in Charlotte, Michigan. The company was initially established as J.L. Dolson & Sons and later became known as the Dolson Automobile Company.

The first model produced by Dolson was the Model A, which featured a 15-horsepower flat-twin engine, chain drive, and a five-seat tonneau body. In 1906, the company introduced a more powerful version of the Model A, equipped with a 22/24-horsepower engine and a longer wheelbase. During its brief production run, Dolson also developed more substantial four-cylinder models, including the 28/32-horsepower Model E, which was manufactured from 1905 to 1906, and the 45/50-horsepower Model F, produced from 1906 to 1907.

The Model F was available as both a tourer and a roadster, the latter being marketed as the Cannonball Roadster, which was capable of reaching speeds of 75 miles per hour (120 km/h). By 1907, the Model F was described as having a power output of 55/60 horsepower and was considered a large and substantial vehicle, priced at $3,250. Dolson's advertising highlighted the durability of their cars, comparing them to the longevity of a traditional horse-drawn carriage.

Despite the company's short lifespan, approximately 700 Dolson vehicles were produced, and it was reported that half of them remained operational three years after production ceased, indicating a notable level of reliability for the era.
