Crown Motor Vehicle Company was an American automobile manufacturer based in Amesbury, Massachusetts, that operated from 1908 to 1910. The company produced vehicles characterized by their high-wheeler design, which was typical of the era. These vehicles were equipped with a horizontally-opposed two-cylinder engine and utilized a chain drive system.
In 1910, after the resignation of the company's president, W.A. Shafer, Graves & Congdon took over the operations of Crown Motor Vehicle Company. Following this transition, the last models produced were sometimes referred to as Graves & Congdon vehicles, marking a shift in branding and management. The company ceased production shortly thereafter, concluding its brief presence in the early automotive industry.
