Craig-Hunt Motors was an American automobile manufacturer based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Established in 1915, the company initially specialized in producing speed parts, including a 16-valve engine conversion and a racing body for Model T Fords.
In 1920, Craig-Hunt Motors shifted its focus to developing its own automobile, which was closely modeled after Ford designs but featured a conventional transmission. The company engaged in considerable advertising efforts, utilizing full-page magazine ads that often included sketches of their vehicle, which bore a striking resemblance to the Model T Ford.
Despite these efforts, Craig-Hunt Motors struggled to achieve significant production levels and ultimately did not establish a lasting presence in the automotive market.
