Cleveland Motor Car Company was an American automobile manufacturer based in Cleveland, Ohio, that operated from 1905 to 1909. The company emerged shortly after the closure of the Cleveland Automobile Company, which had been founded by A.L. Moore. Cleveland Motor Car Company produced vehicles that were considered descendants of the Meteor, a model previously manufactured by the Federal Manufacturing Company for sale by the Worthington Company in New York.

The initial offering from Cleveland featured a four-cylinder engine producing 20 horsepower, available with a runabout body on a 9-foot (2,743 mm) wheelbase. In 1906, the lineup expanded to include a 30/35 horsepower tourer or double phaeton, which was built on a longer 104-inch (2,642 mm) wheelbase. The pricing for these vehicles was notably high for the time, with the double phaeton priced at $3,500 and a 30/35 horsepower limousine reaching $5,000 in 1907. By 1908, a more powerful 40/45 horsepower model was also available at the same price point.

Despite the innovative design features, such as the ability to easily remove the rear axle halfshafts by taking off the hub caps, the Cleveland Motor Car Company struggled with sales due to its high pricing relative to the competition. Ultimately, the company ceased production in 1909 after manufacturing approximately 1,000 vehicles.
