Chicago Motor Buggy Company was established in 1908 in Chicago, Illinois. The company produced a high-wheeler automobile that featured a 15-horsepower, two-cylinder air-cooled engine.
Despite its technical specifications, the Chicago Motor Buggy faced significant competition from another manufacturer, the BLACK company, which also marketed a vehicle under the same name, "Chicago Motor Buggy." The competing model was offered at a lower price, which adversely affected the sales of the Chicago Motor Buggy.
Ultimately, the Chicago Motor Buggy Company did not survive beyond its first season of production, marking a brief existence in the early automotive industry.
