Burly Industries was a kit car manufacturer based in Mendon, Utah, known for its specialization in custom Volkswagen Beetles. The company produced unique body kits that transformed the classic Beetle into distinctive vehicles. One of their notable creations was the Buffcl, which featured a custom rear body that could be fitted onto a modified Beetle. This design resembled early European special bodies, characterized by a coupe top and enclosed rear wheels.
