Blackhawk was an automobile brand produced by the Sturz Motor Car Company of America, based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The brand was active from 1929 to 1930 and was introduced as a more affordable alternative to the larger Stutz vehicles. The name "Blackhawk" had previously been associated with the Stutz Model BB of 1928, which combined the words "Black" and "Hawk."

The Blackhawk was offered with two engine options: an overhead cam six-cylinder engine and a straight-eight engine, producing 85 and 95 brake horsepower, respectively, at 3,200 rpm. It featured a wheelbase of 127.5 inches (3,236 mm) and was available in a variety of open and closed body styles, some of which included custom coachwork. The pricing for the Blackhawk ranged from $1,995 to $2,785, depending on the specifications and coachwork.

Despite its initial launch during a prosperous period for the automotive industry, production figures for the Blackhawk were disappointing. In its first year, only 1,310 units were sold, and this number plummeted to just 280 in 1930, largely due to the economic downturn following the 1929 stock market crash.
