Biddle was an American luxury automobile manufacturer that operated from 1915 to 1923. The company was initially established as the Biddle Motor Car Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before relocating to New York City and rebranding as the Biddle-Crane Motor Car Company in 1921. The brand aimed to cater to a clientele seeking distinctive vehicles that combined elegance with a conventional appearance, avoiding any overly eccentric designs.

The Biddle cars were characterized by their striking aesthetics, featuring a pointed radiator reminiscent of contemporary Mercedes models. Mechanically, they were similar to other cars of the era, typically powered by a Buda 4-cylinder L-head engine that produced 40 horsepower at 2,000 rpm. The vehicles had a wheelbase of 121 inches (3,071 mm) and were often equipped with wire wheels, which enhanced their stylish appearance. While the standard model came with wood artillery wheels, most buyers opted for the more refined wire wheels. Biddle cars were primarily designed for urban driving rather than long-distance touring.

The company produced approximately 500 vehicles before undergoing a management change in 1920. Shortly thereafter, in 1921, it was acquired by a group led by F.L. Crane. During its production run, Biddle offered an optional 4-cylinder Duesenberg engine starting in 1918, although the majority of cars were completed with the Buda engine. The price range for Biddle vehicles typically fell between $3,500 and $5,000. Production ceased in 1922, with the last Biddle cars sold in 1923, marketed as 1923 models.
