Barbarino Motor Car Corporation was an American automobile manufacturer based in New York City, active from 1924 to 1925. Founded by Salvatore Barbarino, an automobile designer and engineer, the company emerged after he acquired the assets of the defunct Richelieu company in 1923. Barbarino aimed to produce a small car that reflected his design vision.
The Barbarino automobile featured a high-grade construction, equipped with a 4-cylinder Le Roi engine, which was also designed by Barbarino. The vehicle was notable for its four-wheel brakes, a distinctive high and rounded radiator, and a wheelbase measuring 110 inches (2792 mm). Additionally, the bodies of the cars were custom-built to order by Churpurdy Auto Coach, a coachbuilding company located in New York City. It is estimated that only about ten units of the Barbarino were completed during its brief production run.
