H.H. Babcock Co. was an American automobile manufacturer based in Watertown, New York. Established in the late 19th century, the company had a long history as a producer of horse-drawn carriages, spanning approximately 60 years before venturing into automobile production. In 1908, Babcock developed an experimental car, which led to the introduction of their first commercial model, the Model A, in 1909.

The Model A was characterized as a high-wheeler, equipped with an 18-horsepower, 2-cylinder engine. Production of this model continued into 1910, during which time Babcock expanded its offerings to include a more conventional tourer featuring a 35-horsepower, 4-cylinder engine. However, the high-wheeler was discontinued after 1910, and the company focused on producing tourers with engine options of 32, 35, or 40 horsepower in the subsequent years. A limousine model was also briefly available in 1911.

Babcock's automobile production ceased in 1913, after which the company shifted its focus to manufacturing bodies primarily for trucks and ambulances, a transition that occurred during World War I.
