Aultman was an American automobile manufacturer based in Canton, Ohio, that operated from 1901 to 1905. The company was founded by Henry J. Aultman, who initially built a steam car in Cincinnati in 1898. Following this, he relocated to Canton, where he began producing vehicles for sale by March 1901.
The Aultman vehicles were primarily light steam buggies, characterized by their single-chain final drive. In September 1901, Aultman experimented with a petrol-engined buggy; however, he ultimately decided to continue focusing on steam-powered vehicles. The company maintained small-scale production until October 1905 and is noted for having produced at least one large four-wheel drive steam truck during its operational years.
