Arnolt is an American automobile brand that operated from 1953 to 1963, founded by Stanley Howard "Wack" Arnolt in Chicago, Illinois. Initially, Arnolt began as a distributor of British cars, with its first offerings being a two-door coupe and a convertible, both styled and built by Bertone on the MG TD chassis. During its first two years, Arnolt sold 65 coupes and 35 convertibles.
The brand later shifted focus to a more powerful vehicle, the Arnolt-Bristol, which gained greater recognition than its earlier models. The Arnolt-Bristol featured distinctively styled light steel bodies crafted by Bertone, paired with a 1971cc six-cylinder Bristol engine that produced 130 horsepower. In total, three coupes and 254 roadsters were produced, with half of the roadsters being the De Luxe models, which were fully trimmed, while the other half were the Bolide versions, stripped down and without a hood. The Bolide was particularly successful in SCCA racing and was priced at $3,995, significantly lower than the Bristol 404 on which it was based.
