Annesley was an early American automobile brand founded by Charles G. Annesley in Detroit, Michigan. The brand's origins trace back to 1899 when Annesley demonstrated a keen interest in the burgeoning automotive industry. Notably, he became the first buyer of a Ford vehicle, acquiring Henry Ford's original prototype for $200 in 1896.

In the early 1900s, Annesley attempted to manufacture automobiles, producing four electric and three petrol-powered vehicles. However, he faced challenges in securing the necessary financing to move into full-scale production. After a brief period in Buffalo, Annesley returned to Detroit by 1914, where he made another attempt to launch a light two-seater car priced at $500. Despite these efforts, the brand did not achieve significant commercial success.
