The Airphibian, also known as the Fulton Airphibian, was a unique flying car produced by Continental Inc. in Danbury, Connecticut, between 1950 and 1956. This innovative vehicle was designed to operate both as an aircraft and a road vehicle, embodying the concept of personal air travel.

Powered by a 165 horsepower engine, the Airphibian could achieve an airspeed of 121 mph (195 km/h) and a road speed of 88 mph (141 km/h). It featured four independently sprung small wheels mounted on struts, allowing for a smooth transition between flying and driving modes. The vehicle was fully licensed by the Federal Aviation Agency, which enabled it to be sold to the public.

Despite its advanced design and capabilities, the Airphibian saw limited commercial success, with few units sold during its production run. Its development reflected the mid-20th century fascination with flying cars, although it ultimately did not achieve widespread adoption.
