Aerocar Corp. is an American company based in Longview, Washington, known for its innovative approach to personal transportation. The company was founded by Molt Taylor, who had a long-standing vision of creating a flying car. Taylor built the prototype of the Aerocar in 1948, but it did not receive certification for flight until 1956.

The Aerocar is a two-seater coupe powered by flat-four aero engines manufactured by either Franklin or Lycoming. One of its notable features is its detachable wings, which can be towed behind the vehicle on a trailer. In the air, the Aerocar could reach a top speed of 125 mph (200 km/h), while its ground speed was limited to 56 mph (90 km/h). A total of five units were constructed during its production run.

In the years following its initial production, Molt Taylor continued to pursue the idea of a modernized version of the Aerocar. As recently as 1993, he expressed interest in developing a new iteration based on contemporary vehicles such as the Geo Metro or Honda CRX.
