Speed 3 Automotive was a small British kit-car marque based in Crook, County Durham, active from the mid-2010s. Operated by builder Steve Milburn, it presented itself as a specialist in bespoke kit cars and hydro dipping. The company’s first publicised model, the SP3WT (Speed 3 Wide Track), used an MG TF donor with a rear-engine layout and Mini-inspired silhouette intended for road or track use. Speed 3 later focused on a Metro 6R4–style replica developed from a Rover Metro/100 bodyshell with bespoke chassis and bodywork; an Audi-engined specification was shown. Public activity peaked around 2016–2019 at UK kit-car shows and in specialist press.
