The JRM GT23 was a limited-production supercar unveiled in December 2019 by JRM Group, a UK motorsport and engineering company best known for its success with the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT1 and GT3 programs. Conceived as a “race car for the road,” the GT23 was announced as a run of just 23 hand-built cars, each individually numbered and priced from £380,000. Production was scheduled to begin in 2020 at JRM’s Daventry headquarters.
The GT23 was powered by a 3.8-litre VR38DETT twin-turbo V6 producing around 650 bhp, paired with a 6-speed sequential transaxle and air-actuated paddle shift. Weighing 1,275 kg, the car achieved a power-to-weight ratio of 500 bhp per ton. With a full aero package, it was claimed to generate over 2G of cornering grip on race slicks. The chassis incorporated revised engine placement, gearbox installation, and suspension geometry to improve weight distribution and inertia compared with the donor Nissan GT-R architecture.
Customers could personalize their cars with a choice of paint and trim, or opt for a JRM Extreme Pack, which added FIA safety equipment, additional aero elements, air jacks, and track-focused hardware. Owners were also offered participation in JRM Experience days at international circuits, supported by the company’s technicians and engineers. Despite its ambitious launch, the GT23 remained a niche project aimed at collectors and enthusiasts seeking an authentic motorsport-derived road car.
