Hoppa Street Buggy was a British kit car company active in the 1990s and 2000s, producing Volkswagen Beetle–based dune buggies. The firms main product was the Hoppa, a fiberglass-bodied street buggy designed to accept the floorpan and mechanical components of a VW Beetle. The Hoppa was offered as a kit, with the body shell supplied together with mounting hardware, roll bar, and accessories.
The car followed the long tradition of Meyers Manx–inspired buggies, with shortened chassis, wide wings, and open styling suited to both recreational and road use. The Hoppa was promoted as inexpensive and easy to assemble, and the company supported its kits with parts supply and customer service through its official website. While it remained a niche player, Hoppa Street Buggy contributed to the continuity of the British beach buggy scene before fading from the market in the 2010s.
