Grice was a British automobile manufacturer founded in 1927 by Arthur Grice, who was associated with G.W.K. Ltd, based in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The company focused on the design of a unique three-wheeled vehicle that featured a single front wheel and was powered by a 680cc air-cooled JAP V-twin engine.
Arthur Grice's design deviated from the typical friction transmission commonly used by G.W.K., opting instead for a conventional three-speed gearbox. The vehicle was notable for its all-round coil suspension and braking systems on all three wheels, which contributed to its innovative engineering.
Despite the promising design and a quoted price of £90, the Grice did not enter production, and the company ultimately ceased operations shortly after its inception. The venture remains a footnote in the history of early British automotive development.
