Hitchon Gear & Automobile Co. Ltd was a British automobile manufacturer based in Accrington, Lancashire, that operated from 1904 to 1907. The company produced vehicles under the Globe brand, which included two distinct models.

The first model featured a 9-horsepower single-cylinder engine equipped with a variable-lift inlet valve, a design attributed to Alfred Hitchon. This model utilized a worm drive system. The second model was a tourer that incorporated a 12-horsepower four-cylinder engine sourced from White & Poppe. Production of these vehicles was limited, with no more than twelve units of each type manufactured.

The Globe cars were occasionally referred to as Hitchon-Weller, reflecting the partnership with John Weller, who had previously developed the Weller automobile in West Norwood and was also known for designing the Autocarrier, which later evolved into the A.C. brand. The brief existence of Hitchon Gear & Automobile Co. Ltd marked a small chapter in the early history of British automotive manufacturing.
