Brand Data

Furore Cars was a British kit-car marque created by designer Russell Bost in Essex. Incorporated as Furore Cars Limited, the firm developed a road-legal, single-seater pastiche called the Furore Formula (often styled Furore F1). The model used a tubular steel spaceframe with GRP bodywork and typically combined Toyota MR2 donor components with a high-revving Kawasaki ZZR superbike engine and six-speed sequential transmission. Claimed kerb weight was about 560 kg, giving headline power-to-weight figures around 400 bhp per tonne depending on specification. Customer cars were IVA tested and registered in the early 2010s, and kits/turnkey builds were sold.
