FourWD Engineering was a UK-based kit car company operated by Simeon Scruton. In 2015 the firm acquired the rights to NCF Motors’ off-road kit range, notably the Land Rover Discovery–based Sahara and a newly developed Arctic conversion. The Arctic kit was built around unmodified short-wheelbase Suzuki Vitara mechanicals, requiring minimal chassis alterations and qualifying for IVA exemption. Its construction featured a galvanised steel body with integrated roll cage, Defender-style wheel arch extensions, optional clam-shell front end, and accessories such as side steps and rear load well—all transforming a Vitara into a compact rugged off-roader.
