The Fiero Factory Ltd was established in Birmingham, West Midlands, in 1991. The company initially focused on importing and servicing Pontiac Fieros in the United Kingdom. By 1993, it expanded its offerings to include replacement body kits for the Fiero, which featured a plastic-bodied design.

One of the first body kits introduced by the Fiero Factory was the Fierossa, which bore a resemblance to the Ferrari Testarossa. This was followed by several other styles, including the 308 Monza, a replica of the Ferrari 308 GTB, the Fiero F40, which mimicked the Ferrari F40, and the F282, designed to resemble the Ferrari F355. In these modifications, the original plastic panels of the Fiero were removed, while the monocoque chassis remained intact.

In 1995, the company introduced the Venom, a body kit that created a lookalike of the American-made Dodge Viper, utilizing parts from Ford Granada or Chevrolet Corvette. A further innovation came in 1998 with the launch of the Euro 427 Cobra replica, which utilized the Venom chassis along with components from the Ford Sierra. Through these developments, the Fiero Factory carved a niche in the market for custom automotive modifications in the UK.
