Dri-Sleeve Car Company was a British automotive manufacturer based in Warminster, Wiltshire, that operated briefly from 1971 to 1972. The company was established by three partners who took over the premises of the former OPUS company in 1970. Their primary goal was to create a replica of the Bugatti Type 35, which they named the Dri-Sleeve Moonraker.
The Dri-Sleeve Moonraker featured a ladder chassis that utilized a modified Ford rear axle and a Volkswagen Beetle front end. It was powered by a Ford Cortina 1600GT engine, which could be optionally supercharged to produce 113 brake horsepower. The vehicle's construction included an aluminum main body and bonnet, while the rear panel and cycle wings were made from fiberglass. The car was offered in kit form for £1,954, with fully built versions priced significantly higher. However, due to its high cost, only six units of the Moonraker were produced before the company ceased operations.
