Corse was a British automotive brand that operated in various forms from 1986 to the present. The brand initially emerged under the name Allora, focusing on the production of handmade cars in Bushey, Hertfordshire. The Allora model was a kit car that closely resembled the Lancia Stratos, utilizing many mechanical components from the Lancia Beta.
In 1989, the brand transitioned to Litton Cars, based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. During this period, the company continued to develop its offerings, leading to the introduction of the Litton Corse. This iteration featured significant enhancements, including a completely revised chassis and custom-made suspension systems.
From 1992 onwards, the brand evolved into Carson Automotive Engineering, which continued to produce the Corse model. The Carson Corse incorporated a semi-monocoque chassis and provided a range of engine options sourced from various manufacturers, including Lancia, Renault, Rover, Ferrari, Vauxhall, and Alfa Romeo. Throughout its history, Corse maintained a focus on bespoke automotive engineering and kit car production.
