E. Channon & Sons Carriage and Motor Works was a British automobile manufacturer based in Dorchester and Weymouth, Dorset. The company was established by Edward Channon, who initially gained recognition as a successful carriage builder. As the automotive industry began to emerge, Channon expanded his business by developing agencies for various automobile makes while also producing vehicles under his own name.

The only model that Channon advertised was a 10 horsepower, 2-cylinder vehicle, which bore similarities to the contemporary Darracq. This model featured a stylish four-seater open body design as standard. The engine specifications included a bore and stroke of 4 x 5 inches, resulting in an approximate capacity of 2.1 liters. The vehicle was marketed as being entirely manufactured in England, and it prominently featured an automatic ignition advance and retard system. In 1908, the price for this complete vehicle, including tools, was quoted at 225 guineas, equivalent to £236.25.

In addition to his work in the automotive field, Edward Channon demonstrated a keen interest in innovation, notably flying his own aircraft in 1908, which highlighted his forward-thinking approach during the early years of the 20th century.
