Cartel Ltd was a British automotive company based in Woking, Sumy, that was established in 1983. The company was primarily known for its range of body styling kits and vehicle conversions, catering to a niche market within the automotive industry.

In 1983, Cartel attempted to diversify its offerings by producing its own vehicle, the T.I.G.E.R. (Turbo Intercooled Ground Effect Roadster). This model was designed by Chris Humbetstone and featured innovative ground effect technology developed by Ken Tyrrell. The T.I.G.E.R. was characterized by its dramatically styled wedge shape, which included a forward-hinging canopy, an ultra-low nose, and large air dams at both the front and rear.

The T.I.G.E.R. was powered by a Renault 2.7-litre V6 engine, which could be optionally equipped with twin turbochargers. Cartel had ambitious plans for production, intending to manufacture chassis in Britain and ship them to the United States for completion, with a target output of up to 200 units per year. However, the company ultimately decided to focus on its body kit business rather than pursuing the production of the T.I.G.E.R.
