Buckland

Buckland was a small automotive manufacturer based in Janwern, Gwent, United Kingdom. Founded by Dick Buckland, the company specialized in the production of three-wheeled vehicles, inspired by Buckland's ownership of a Morgan trike. He aimed to enhance the existing design and performance of such vehicles.

The Buckland B3 featured a robust Zintec steel backbone, which provided structural integrity. It was equipped with a front double wishbone suspension system and utilized a Ford Escort engine. The power was transmitted to a single rear wheel through an Escort gearbox, with a custom-made prop shaft connecting to a sprocket and chain. The vehicle's fiberglass main body tub was designed to hinge upwards, allowing for easy mechanical access.

Buckland produced only one vehicle per year, emphasizing a bespoke approach to manufacturing. This limited production run contributed to the uniqueness of each car.
