Brooks Motor Co. Ltd. was established in 1902 in Foleshill, Coventry, United Kingdom. The company specialized in manufacturing light motor vehicles, notably a model referred to as the "light motor phaeton." This vehicle was available in configurations with either two or four seats and was powered by a Belgian-built Pinart engine, which came in two variants: an 8 horsepower and a 12 horsepower version.
The transmission system of the Brooks vehicles featured a three-speed gearbox designed by the company itself, while the final drive utilized a shaft connected to a live rear axle. In addition to the phaeton, Brooks also offered a van body variant, which was designed to deliver a payload of one kilowatt.
