E.D. Billings was a British automobile manufacturer based in Coventry, established in 1900. The company produced a model known as the Billing 2-scater voiturcttc, which was notable for its 2hp De Dion-Bouton single-cylinder engine. This engine was front-mounted and uniquely featured no bonnet to cover it, which was a distinctive characteristic of the vehicle.
The Billing 2-scater also incorporated shaft drive, a relatively advanced feature for its time, and utilized tiller steering, which was common in early automobiles. The vehicle was intended to be marketed under an alternative name, "Burns," as it was to be sold by J. Burns of London.
