Avalon Automotive was a British automotive manufacturer based in Stocksbridge, Sheffield, Yorkshire, that operated from 1990 to 1992. The company initially presented its project as a styling exercise under the name Curtana. However, it later evolved into a production model known as the Avalon S30, which was subsequently renamed the 250LE.
The Avalon S30 was characterized by its distinctive design as an open-topped mid-engined sports car. It utilized components from the Ford Escort, featuring a space frame chassis and a fiberglass body. Although a coupe version was planned, it is uncertain whether any of the intended production run of 250 units was ever completed, casting doubt on the overall success of the venture.
