Autocult

Autocult was a Scottish manufacturer of kit cars that operated from 1983 to 1985, based in Dunbar, East Lothian. The company specialized in producing unique automotive designs, with its most notable model being the Tigress.

The Tigress was a 2+2 coupé that drew inspiration from the Volkswagen Beetle, featuring a curvaceous design that was distinctive yet somewhat unconventional. Its body was constructed from fiberglass and included forward-hinging doors reminiscent of the Lamborghini Countach, along with winding Beede windows. Despite its innovative design, production numbers for the Tigress were very limited, contributing to its rarity in the kit car market.
