Astra Car Co. Ltd was a British automobile manufacturer based in Hampton Hill, Middlesex, that operated from 1956 to 1959. The company initially launched its first vehicle, the Jarc Little Horse, which was powered by a 250cc Excelsior engine. Astra was a subsidiary of the British Anzani Company and focused on producing miniature utility vehicles.

The Astra featured innovative design elements for its time, including swing axle independent suspension on all wheels, hydraulic brakes, and Burman steering. As production progressed, later models were equipped with a more powerful under-floor 322cc Anzani engine. The vehicle's bodywork was constructed from alloy and was primarily available in a two-seater station wagon configuration, which could be purchased either fully assembled or in kit form. Additionally, there were reports of other body styles being produced, including a four-seater saloon and a two-seater coupé marketed under the GILL name.
