A. & M. Sportscars, trading as A. & M. (Specialist Cars) Ltd, was a British kit car manufacturer based in Redditch, Worcestershire.
The company's principal product was the EX2, a mid-engined sports coupé characterized by smooth, flowing styling. Constructed as a kit car, the EX2 employed a semi-space frame backbone chassis paired with specially fabricated double wishbone suspension, cast aluminium uprights, and rose joints, along with disc brakes fitted at all four corners.
Power for the EX2 came from Vauxhall four-cylinder engines ranging from 1.3 to 2.0 litres, matched with a five-speed transaxle also sourced from Vauxhall. The bodywork was produced in self-coloured glassfibre, a common practice among kit car manufacturers of the era that reduced the need for painting while maintaining a durable finish.
